Presque Isle Class of 79 - It’s time for you to take the time to either post your vote HERE (just make a comment) or email me your opinion on what YOU want for your 30th class reunion. Because none of us on the planning committee wants to commit to a date or place without more input from you all - it was decided tonight to present the options on the table for our reunion.
The planning committee has narrowed it down to two places that would fit whatever we plan for the class reunion:
Choice #1 Nordic Heritage Sport Club
Choice #2 Northeastland Hotel
Now - the dates offered up:
One night only official reunion to be held on one of the following nights:
July 3, 2009
July 10, 2009
or July 11th, 2009
There are several classmates talking about barbecue’s, informal parties on whatever weekend you choose so even though there is going to be a one night reunion - getting something together that weekend will be easy!
So the vote:
All votes emailed to me will be tallied and presented at the next planning committe on December 18th were we will absolutely vote on the place and the date - all emailed votes will be anonymous.

Now, we hear “just tell me when” or “it really doesn’t matter” but pick the one date that works best for YOU and we’ll see how things come together.
The reunion itself will be catered (planning food is another post!) and we have arranged for a professional DJ with sound system and slideshow (got pictures you can scan? We will want them!) but we need to know where you would like to meet up with each other.
Traveling for the reunion - The class of 79 has been generously offered corporate rates on hotel rooms which is a great savings when your traveling so far.
Finally, if you haven’t updated your email address and mailing address with me or one of the classmates on the committee - be sure to drop me a line so I can email you as soon as we get a date and place set.
